![]() Avast is going to get this sorted out pretty soon. I'd recommend switching the cyber capture setting back after playing. When you try to run Rift, you will get an Avast pop-up asking if you want to run this file. Under "Cyber Capture", select "Allow me to run suspicious files".ģ. ![]() I had a similar problem with CyberCapture and AVG in generall. Open AVG Internet Security-> Menu-> Settings-> General-> From here you can see 'Enable Cyber Capture' checked, please uncheck the same to disable this feature. Open Avast and go to Settings (the wheelie thing in the upper right hand corner).Ģ. You can disable the Cybercapture from the below location of AVG Internet Security. Anyone who is running Avast and hits this problem, here's how to get past it (until Avast admits that Rift is not a virus):ġ. I've had this previously with Avast on a different patch, with a different file, and it didn't affect my ability to run Rift.
